Deceased Suppression
Avoid embarrassment and recipient hardship by having us identify and flag or remove deceased individuals from your list. The main source for the deceased information is the Social Security Administration Death Masterfile. Additional sources complete the compiled file.
Prison Suppression
If your product or service is not appropriate for those in prison or other correctional institutions throughout the U.S., let us flag those addresses in your file. You’ll save printing, production and postage costs by suppressing this audience from your mailing.
DMA Do Not Mail Suppression
Responsible marketers (like you) match their mailing lists against the Data and Marketing Association (DMA) Do Not Mail database prior to mailing. The Mail Preference division of the DMA compiles a list of people who do not want to receive advertising mail. A person must register with the DMA to be included in the list.
Each month, Lorton Data receives the DMA’s updated list. Matches are based on last name and address.
FTC Do Not Call Suppression
The National Do Not Call Registry includes registrations from both cell phones and land lines. The registry is for personal phone numbers only. Business-to-business phones and faxes are not covered. By law, companies are required to match their telemarketing list against the registry every 31 days to avoid calling any phone number on the registry.
